Who We Are
Founded in 2004 in Lancaster Pa, Power Packs Project was created to ensure that low-income children are well feed over the weekend and ready to learn at school on Monday. By integrating healthy low-cost meals for families with educational tools and recipes, Power Packs Project not only helps combat the rising number of food insecure children and their families, but also cultivates a community that embraces that a Hungry Child Can’t Learn. The organization envisions a community where a child has three nutritious meals a day, seven days per week. We believe this not only is a life choice but a human right.
